Bonnie
Sorry to hear Tachi is not well again! Sometimes you have to make a hard choice! I hope he rallies back and can be with you a bit longer!!!! The cat I had outside,Alura, has vanished and I fear the worst. After the fight I had to save her from the infection I can't believe she has just disappeared! I heard the coyotes the other night so I wonder if they got her? Well if you need to talk you have my number!!!!! Oreo sends his best wishes to you as well.... he is training his new puppys to be good cats! Cat

I'll play the didge for Tachi tonight at the fire tonight...I bet he hears it all the way from here...thinking warm thoughts for him.

Same here Bonnie. Good thoughts for the both of you.

Is there no way you can take him along and perhaps limit your time at faire each day to go back to your hotel and tend to your friend? Better than no faire at all....

Queen Bonnie

I had thought of that, Anna! He would not do well on a 2 1/2 hour drive- one way. I need to build him back up a bit.He is happiest at home. Right now he does not need the stress.
The good news is Tachi is responding to the higher dosage of insulin! He is eating and less wobbly and not drinking as frantically. Hope is in my heart I can pull him through!
I will miss Scarby this weekend- but If he gets better perhaps I can go in May- or a day trip? Or???

We will miss you much this weekend, but you must take care of your dear friend. Hope Tachi gets to feeling better and you can come see us again soon.  ;)

Queen Bonnie

Thanks and hugs Mast Hugger Kate! This was a very hard thing to give up faire for my kitty- but he is really doing much better today!
I will sure miss being there and seeing all my friends and fairmily!I HOPE I can find another ride back to faire when Tachi is strong again!

Bonnie, I'm so glad to hear he's doing better. :)

Queen Bonnie

Thanks so much Anna! I am spoiling him this weekend! He has eaten a whole jar of chicken baby food so far today and I have given him fresh catnip! He and Yoshi are snuggled up  in a Siamese ball!
I am cooking myself a turkey leg for supper- since I can't be at faire! I shall just pretend I am at Scarby!

I sure missed Scarby this past weekend, but Tachi is doing better. He is spoiled rotten- but that is in the job description of being a Royal Feline.
All is in bloom here at Meow Manor. my veggie garden is doing well and the waterlilies are thriving.
Ah Spring. Hope I can go to Scarby a few more times though. Faire is about all I do for fun.
Sigh!

So glad to hear Tachi is better and spoiled!!! I now have a new peke... his name is Asneeze son of Achoo. He was dumped and needed me.... so what can I say I am a sucker for a mushy face! He is not very old and is very well mannered but has an ulcerated eye. We are treating it and hope to have the vet out to look at him and dehorn the 2 calves and the goat this week! We sure have a bunch of silly critters! Ohhh my yard is in full bloom Bonnie!!!! The little roses you brought me cuttings of are pale pink. Look sort of like my pale rose but a bit darker and not as fluffy... you and I were debating if they were the same rose last year... I do not think they are... what is the name of these beauties you gifted???? Also you saw my almost purple, mauvy rose by the veggies that you knew the name of and I forgot to write it down...stupid me! It is SOOOO fragrant!  Well I hope all your Nargles are well control... if not I suggest barbait... works on the rats plaguing the feed room! Cat

Glad you got a new Peke Cat! Love the name! Will his eye be OK?
This is awful. I can't remember what cuttings I gave you. Glad they are doing well. I will see if i was smart and wrote down the cuttings I brought in my journal.
I did not. drat! Perhaps if I look at them I will know?
Trying to go to Scarby this weekend with Var. Seeing if I can get someone from the Vet to come here to give Tachi his shots. Hope I can work something out. Sigh!
I love my kitty- but hate missing faire! I hope  Fortune smiles on my problem!  * Waves magick wand!*

Well I am treating the eye in the only way you can and *fingers crossed* his eye will heal. He seems better after just 3 doses of antibiotic and I have been putting triple in his bad eye to keep it moist and all. Now it is just hoping! It does seem to be less sore and he seems not to be scratching at it! He is such a doll! So pretty! And such a great waggy tail!

Hope your weekend goes well! Tachi should be fine if they can come to the house to give the shots! Such spoiled rotten puddytats! Cat
