WOOOOHOOO! I am so glad for you! I saw the new Potter movie... I thought it was not the best of them but then I thought the 6th book was not the best either. You will enjoy it either way! It is a Potter fix...... I did not go in garb... too hot to drive the College Station in garb!

 Var and I went in garb! I loved the movie!  fun! I think I will want to see it again! It was 3 hours long- but went by too fast.

We found it too dark and a bit too many cuts in and out.... I like the others better.... But I will buy it when it comes out! I want the whole set! But anyway back to it!

 I guess the movie I liked least was Goblet Of Fire. I think the director did not get the character of Dumbledore right. They are all good though!
We got 40 minutes of RAIN here the other night!!! Not sure it is enough to save my roses or back gardens. All are fried. We are still in exceptional drought.
I am getting all ready for my renter who is supposed to move in on the first.  New territory for me. I hate losing my privacy- but hope this will be a positive experience! I do what I must.
The alchemy spells and potions are not going well this year- but I will go to TRF. It is the one happy thing I look forward to in life! Faire! friends and a bit of fun!
Tachi is still doing OK- week and wobbly but still happy and not in pain. Chingy is also looking thinner and sleeps a lot. The other 2 are fine and playful. Strange with only 4 Royal felines. I use less cat food and litter. A good thing for my diminished finances!
Not much new here. Glad July is nearly over! I am hoping things will be better next year. I miss having the ARRG here.

Yeah. I understand the finance thing. Having Cali do what she did left us in a squeeze. I am going to have to work faireI am still kicking it around...  or not go! I was so pleased that I was going to get to play but it is not to be! Maybe I will just go one weekend and no more this year. That way I can focus on the horses and such more. But going every weekend is out if not working. Oh Well could be worse! The TBs are all training well! And I am looking forward to you staying here... I plan to have fun even if not going to faire. Well I can't wait to hear how your new roomy turns out! I am hoping he turns into a knight in shining armour at the very least! I dare say he will be enchanted living at the manor! SMILE>>> any rain is good rain!

 Not sure what Cali did? Renn mail me- or e-mail.
Not sure if the renter will go through- he has not signed the paperwork or made his deposit yet. Kind of getting down to the wire makes me a bit nervous. If he bails out at the last minute I will be upset and back to looking for another renter or have to get the dreaded substitute teaching job.
I look forward to staying with you too! Can't wait!

I have been watering mine... trying to save the plants. I had to mow...funny how a small amount of rain makes the grass grow madly! OH I do hope he has not backed out! Subbing might not be much fun but at least it is not out in the weather! But I hope he comes through! I hope things look up all the way around!

 I am getting a bad feeling about my prospective renter. Warning red flags are starting to pop up in my brain. Something is not right. Since he has not paid a deposit yet or signed the lease agreement- I put my room back up on Craigslist.
There is not enough water in the world to save my back yard. I am trying to keep a few things alive. 40 minutes of rain does not do much.
I hope things look up soon!

Yeah I know what you mean.... we have not gotten enough water here to pull the pastures up! The grass is nearly gone! I don't blame you for putting it back up to let.... sounds like he may have found another place already! Good luck...

 I think the guy I had was too perfect- except not sure he was entirely truthful about everything.  Guess I will find out more tomorrow. I am uncomfortable with the situation now.

 Back to looking for another roomie. This guy had too many problems. I think money might have been one of them.  I don't need someone with problems living here. My realtor is dealing with him and advised me to bail out.  I have a few other interested people.  I feel relief at not having a person I was beginning to feel uncomfortable about, moving in here.
It would be lovely to find a rennie renter! Dreaming big!* Waving magick wand too! *
