Deuce looks like he is doing better...at least some of the swelling is gone and he is running around..but it is still hot and sore.
Sorry to hear you lost your old koi.... It was a ruff year for fish and such!   I have not gotten the decorations out YET! I am planning to redo Witchypoo soon!! Have to deal with my contest entries and all first then her! I am glad you have some help... Make sure you feed and wine/beer your helper to keep him coming back!

 Huzzah to the good news about Deuce!
Not sure what got Glitter, my gold koi. I loved that fish.
Feeding my helper good Food and wine. He brings his own beer.  I let him sample coconut rum the other night!
I ripped off a fingernail yesterday. That has slowed me down. I lost a favorite tiger eye cat earring yesterday- but found it out by the pool this AM.
Busy hiding the silverware and rum - I know my evil twin will be in port for the Sherwood gathering tonight. Yo Ho. There- I talked like a pirate!
She will sing like a pirate tonight!

Spent part of the day killing ants, part tilling the bed and now I need to go out and dump all the compost and such into said bed and get the veggies in!  Fall veg season! Only slightly different from spring planting!  Time to start hauling out Halloween fun stuff!

 my Evil pirate twin had a rare old time at Sherwood! Talking, drinking, singing and walking like a pirate!  I heard all about it! She was the opening act- followed by the Bedlam Bards!
Twas hot and steamy at Sherwood but all had a grand time!I think my neighbor might be a new rennie! huzzah!
Now she is off to sea again and I need new silverware. I hid my jewelry and she did not take that at least.
  I was busy repotting pot bound plants this AM. Now they are happier.

I have added many new scented plants and flowers to the seating/beer garden... we have a large gardenia,the almond verbena and now a Papaya tree which has fruit... and rosemaries and and purple petunias...it smells heavenly! I have so many roses blooming...I can't wait to have you visiting...but due to rain I need to mow! UGGHH! Glad to hear you only lost your silverware... good thing it was all plastic! Pirates are never too smart! If she had bit into it you might have had a problem!

 It sounds lovely Cat! I can't wait to see your garden again.It won't be long now until TRF time! I am excited!  My garden looks so bad due to the drought.It will be great to see blooms again!
Rain today here! At last!
I might have a room renter. She is perfect! Keeping fingers crossed!  It would be great not to be so stressed about how the alchemy is going- or  rather not going- this year!

 looks like all is still on GO with the renter- but I will breathe easier once she gives her deposit etc.

My Queen..It is told that the festivities of the 7 Sisters at Sherwood last Saturday eve was most memorable and we truly missed a grand dedication ceremony.  I fear no one had a royal cam of it, but I be hearing nothing but rave reviews, despite the mugginess of the eve.  December should be most exhilarating!

 I got the best news today! My room is rented!  Doing the happy dance of relief.
Laura is even a rennie! She moves in Oct 5th!
