Loki Challenge Wrap Up & Winners!

Even if another challenge does not occur again this year, would anyone like to have a Loki tasting party?  The Brothers of St. Arnulf would be happy to provide the site for such an event. I'm sincerely disappointed that I couldn't put my Penance up against some of those brews. It was such a hit last year that even King George had some.

Anyway, is anyone interested in doing the tasting party the weekend of Highland Fling (Nov. 14 -16). If a few people chime in, I'll start a new thread for it.

The monks normally have a few different brews:
- Sacrilege (traditional Loki)
- Penance (spiced fruit Loki)
and new for this year - Acedia (fruit Loki/non-Loki mix)

Let it be know...the judges are lodging a protest.

All the winners collected their sample bottles after the contest and didn't leave them for us to further sample. We were stuck with the losing entries.

Truthfully, I was happy to see all the interest in the contest, especially for the door prizes. Folks are encouraged to shop at the vendor who supplied the prizes, if anything, just to say thank you.

Yeah I've been a judge a few times and they never leave the good ones We just make sure to ask for more when tasting to get all we can get out of it.. NOw that easier to do when the judging was done in private!

If the judges be in camp on the weekend of Highland Fling, they are welcome to bring a couple beers by our site and do their Penance.
