I just got an error several times when trying to make a new post in mundane topics. a 404 error... saying i didn't have permissions to post there...

Could have been connection problems at the time, lass. Seems to be operational now.
Try it again. If it still doesn't work, John or DB will have to work their Admin magic on yuh.

Stinking Gremlins wouldn't let me in ,every time I would click the forum tab it would come up error 404. Go figure! ???
