I found a recipe for a pumpkin pie latte and a hot mocha truffle one.
I'm thankful that cooking and baking can bring family together and happy around the holidays.

mmm...what kind of hot toddy?

The one I make is pretty basic:  hot water with lemon extract, sweetened by honey and fortified with a splash of bourbon whiskey.  Sometimes I'll add a cinnamon stick.

Pumpkin Latte Toddy...sounds intriguing!

-A good job that I enjoy (for the most part)
-My wonderful fiance
-Friends and family
-My cute, sweet puppy dog
-President Obama
-Having enough money to scrap by and pay for a wedding
-Warm blankets
-Coffee
-Weekends

I am thankful that we are nearing the colder weather which means.... Logs in the fireplace, Egg Nog, Cloog, Mulled cider, fuzzy slippers, big fluffy blankets, warm mittens, cozy kittens!!!

I"m thankful

-that i finally found  a  doctor  who knew  what he  was  doing  this   past spring.
- that they were finally able  to remove  the tumor  that was on  my spine  and  near my heart
- that i survived  the high risk surgery.  That one I am very thankful  for  this  year !


and  what i am thankful for  every year  and   every day :
             _ my  wonderful , loving husband
              - my beautiful, healthy  little  boy
               -  that my parents  are still alive  to see  my son grow  up
               -   my family
               - my friends, including  the  people i  know  on  here
               - for a roof over my head, clothes on  my back,  food  on the table, and  everyone  I   know  being  safe  and  healthy.
