I saw the movie yesterday with my brother.  We both are old enough to have seen the original when it first aired...and, we did!  The movie was very good!  The producers have obviously decided to revitalize the original characters and start everything over again...At least I hope so!

I was sorry to see in a TV interview that Wm Shatner was upset that he was left out of this new movie.  My only complaint is that "McCoy" isn't as scrawny as DeForrest Kelly.

Cool pic Sir William...Made me think what actor/actress I liked better, old or new.

Spock...A complete toss up.  New is so intriguing with the emotional side so close to the surface.
Chekov...New, never really liked the old.
Uhura...Sorry, gotta go old.  Love the "curvy" girls in red mini's!
Kirk...Tough one.  Shattner's Kirk is a classic, edges out the new...but the young'n is nipping his heels!
Scotty...New, hands down!
Sulu...Flip a coin.
McCoy...New, no doubt!
