If I remember correctly, you have a tutorial for weaving those.  If so, I have lost the link and would greatly appreciate a repost of it.  I especially loved your middle eastern inspired one though they are all  lovely.

If you click on newbiehere's name, when her profile comes up, there is a link that says Garb and Craft Diary.  That's where you can see the pop can garb and it says to contact her if you want the pattern.  The things she has made are so amazing.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Renee.  Sorry, my internet connection is has been unpredictable these days.

And, yes, Sitara, I have PDF instructions and pictures of tab layout patterns for most of my items.  Just email or pm me.

Since it seems he's not going to ;) , I thought I'd post some pics of the mug holders and parasol holder that Cormac made for us.  We finally got to wear them in a "photo shoot" for the first time just yesterday at Scarby.  Though, of course, it was overcast all day with no real need for the parasol, we wanted to try out the holder to see how well it works.  It did it's job splendidly.

Mom with her mug and parasol holders

At the last minute she decided to wear a belt over her bodice, but the belt she choose is really not sturdy enough for the weight of the parasol.

Our camera likes to oversaturate reds and play tricks on the eyes.  In person the lace matches the parasol holder much better than the pic shows.

I love that this mug holder is extra long, which works prefectly under the bodice.

Thank you so much Cormac.  You did a really great job on everything.

My latest experimental cane. I found a candlestick made with three sections of ceramic and cannibalized the parts. The next one is a little more "shapely" than the simple globe on this one and I think will turn out better and fit the hand better.

Groomporter, that is a very nice cane, can't wait to see the other one. Could you PM me about how much you charge for your canes and such. I may be in the market for one if my back keeps up it problems. I'm looking for a very sturdy one. Thanks Lady Serena

*gasp* I am in love with the creativity of the projects in this thread!! I have been inspired to do some hair accessories for myself and a friend (who are going to our first renaissance festival in july!!) so I'm super excited! I've been making dried natural+floral wreaths and headwear for a while, and selling on etsy.com. Does anyonelse have a shop there? I'd love to check out your pages.

I'm off to explore the rest of the site - this is my first post! :)

Hey, thanks for posting that.  I just ordered that from you.  When Steve (sleepy) and I went to vegas last winter I saw these cool pop tab purses.  I came home and found pop tabs to buy on line, but the reality has been that with all these kids around I haven't had time to deal with making a pattern.  So, maybe now they will get some use.
