Wow thats rather inexpensive.  I just bought fabric for another dress.  But totally forgot about the Dorothea Bodies.  I think this coming week I will have to get some supplies :)  Thank you for sharing that though.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

Oh...Molly...I LOVE it!  Great job.  It looks absolutely perfect!

So I'm finally continuing work on my Dorothea bodies and I think I've nearly got a pattern I'm happy with.  I had to modify it a lot because it's going under a gown that I already have and it needs to cover the same areas.  The problem I'm having now is that the top of the back is gaping.  How high is the back of the corset supposed to be?  On me it comes up to about three inches below the nape of my neck.  I'm quite short, so the pattern might be too long for me.

Hmm...three inches sounds a bit high to me...brb.

OK, I'm back.  I just put mine on, and mine is 4 3/4" from the nape of my neck.

Just remember that I'm long-waisted, so the point is just to do what works for you & if the top is gaping, it's not supporting you anyway, so I'd suggest just making the back end where the gape starts, if that makes any sense.

hth!
