Awesome fun filled Saturday at Faire, with wonderful folks... but also nice to be home, where my exhaustion has a nice comfy bed to wallow in.

Awesome fun filled Saturday at Faire, with wonderful folks... but also nice to be home, where my exhaustion has a nice comfy bed to wallow in.

I've come to really appreciate the faires that are close enough to home to sleep in my bed instead of my tent.

I actually would have really liked to be able to camp there, and stay for Sunday, as well.  It would have made the 2.5 hour drive each direction so much easier if it didn't have to be done twice in one day.  Especially after only 3.5 hours of sleep the night before!  I don't mind sleeping on the air mattress at all, since it's what I sleep on at home (although the one at home also has a frame and a box spring under it).  I do admit, though, that it gets harder every year for me to do two days of Faire in a row.  It's a LOT easier when the drive is only 40 minutes, though!  I'm still recovering from this weekend... and I didn't even drink anything stronger than blueberry nectar! 

I'm feeling rather betrayed by my body these days...
