PINK! Pink is a very underrated period colour.

I'm very impressed, you both look smashing.

I like it, you look great!
I have that pattern, but haven't made it up yet. Thanks for the pics!

Pink is my favorite color to wear in my regular clothes.  I've never had any pink garb, but I love yours, so someday, when I actually do start to sew, a pink something will be on my list.

That is super cute!  I have plans to make that same pattern but reversible with black on black stripes for one side and red on red for the other.  Hadn't pulled it out yet to see what the sleeve set up was like, but now am more motivated to see that they are easily altered.

This is hilarious, because I *hate* pink, but would *totally* wear pink garb!  (I have some lovely coral linen I was thinking of making another 18thC. jacket out of.)

And, of course, I adore everything that Laura does, but I did get a giggle out of her Evil Polyester Choli story!

I was SO much more comfortable when I switched over to the cotton shirt.  :)

Plus, that white shirt just looked *awesome* with your coat--I love the long straight sleeves.

See i decided even before I got a chance to read this that I really need to make pink skirts to go with my purple bodice... really really really.
