Just checked w/Fandango for the IMAX 3D experience - it doesn't open at the Edwards Cinema on I-10 in Houston until 7/29, so I went ahead & bought my tickets for the midnight 6-14 opening.  I feel a little swoon comin' on.  I'll get the IMAX 3D tickets a week or 2 after it comes out on IMAX.

IMAX 3D opens on JULY 29 here, not 6/29 as I noted above and have fixed.  My brain has not moved out of June mode.  What it  has moved into is HARRYHARRYHARRY mode and I finished re-reading Half Blood Prince last night.

The only bad thing is I wont be able to see it the day it comes out  :'(  I'll have to wait until the first Sunday afterwards.  I think that is making my wait even worse.

I've never seen any of the HP movies in IMAX. Is it really worth it? It seems like it would be so huge!

 Going to see this movie is a special occasion. I guess I will find out if IMAX is worth it! Bigger Harry can't be a bad thing!

IMAX has always been worth it to me.  Although I have yet to get a chance to see Harry in IMAX.

And evidently this is not only IMAX, but 3D!  Can hardly wait to see the QUIDDITCH!

According to the IMAX website, the opening 12 minutes is all that is in 3D.
