We want to plan the next day outing on the grounds.  It will be similar to the last excursion.  Starting at 3pm...lasting til you tire of our company.  I'll have a keg of beer.  Food will be up to the vistors to bring, or just come walk around, drive around, and be off. We will have some chairs; but feel free to bring your own and engage us in conversation around the tent.

There was some confusion the last time about the entry.  The website shows the point off Old Highway 20 where parking for the faire will eventually be.  The entry for touring the grounds will be off U.S. Highway 290.  It's approx 1.7 miles west of the 290/Highway 21 intersection on the north side.  There is a white 4x8 sign with a butterfly hanging on the sign.  We will tape the initials "SWFF" on the sign as well.

We hope to have some of the booth sites staked off and numbered by that time.

Still waiting on Aqua to get us water and Bluebonnet to get us electricity...so, still no facilities...but lots of woods.

Cheers,

Rengypsy

I'll be there!
Celebrating my Birthday (as close as it can be at least) and picking out a location for the booth.
Guess that means we need to get our vendor app in quickish (or do you mind if we just bring it out then?)

I believe the driveway is at these Google Maps coordinates:  30°13'28.30"N, 97°10'10.10"W

Try this link, or copy the coordinates into the search line of Google Maps, and you can see the Street View photo that was taken when the "Property For Sale" sign was there.

Teach,

I don't know if you saw my question in the other thread ...

Walking about the grounds with Rengypsy you can really get a feeling for what is coming.
I am definitely hooked on this faire and plan to do anything I can to make it a success (even possibly opening a booth myself with some cohorts).

*I can see myself drinking a lot of rum out there...*

You're going to open a Rum Drinking Booth?!?   ;)   ;D

I hope each of you know how much we need you to make this festival a success!

We need your ideas, your critique, your energies, your passions, and your voice spreading the word.

Hope many of you are able to make it out feb 28th to light some sage, drink a bit ale, offer your blessings for the grounds to be transformed within the next year.

I'll be committed to Four Winds this year, but I'm planning to vend at Sherwood on opening cannon. Unfortunately, the 28th, I'll be a bit busy. Fair seas and full sails! Happy B-day Teach!

Hoping many of you can join us next Saturday.
Maybe it wont be frigid temp and we can actually sit and chat a bit.
Blessings to each of you.

Accepting applications to becoming vendors now.

Contracts will be forthcoming by the 1st week in March...then folk can choose their sites for booth construction.

Cheers,
Rengypsy

PS.  We are still needing folk to distribute brochures and posters around the following cities:  Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi...and the towns of Elgin, Bastrop, Giddings and Smithville.  If you are so helpful to volunteer for this task, we need you to send us an email of where they have been distributed. We will have plenty for folk to pick up at the February 28th gathering.
