DonaCatalina I kinda agree with you except when I see how much the politicians get paid for mucking things up.  When I see Movie and TV stars getting millions for doing nothing and sport starts getting even more for doing even less.  Then its seems like the corporate boss aren't really over paid after all.

As for Christian Bale he does seem to have control issues after all its not long ago he was arrested for attacking his own mother and sister.

What about the corporate exec who plays golf (a sport) motivates political idealogy through donations to PACs and acts (theater) as if he can't understand why his company went bankrupt, but he still deserves millions in bonus pay...   hmmm....

The stock holders should fire him just as you would fire any other incompetent employee.

But I've always wondered why the exec that buys a politician is consider worst than the politician that sells his office.  Politicians claim to condamn the PAC's and their political influcence but never seems to have any problem taking the money.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never said the exec is worse than the corrupt politician. The syntax here is too broad, too general. When you say "politicians," do you mean every last one of them? I doubt it.

Third rule of motion: For every quote, there is an equal and opposite quote. As much as I adore the brilliant mind of Teddy R, this is no "purse" these execs are taking.

Times are tough- this year alone I will have to sell at least three of the nine multi-million dollar mansions I own. Wait, I mean, I might scrape up enough dough to pay my lot rent on my mobile home.

The stock holder will fire him right after they have their 10 million dollar super bowl party and have finished cashing the checks from the prior "bail-out."

You doubt incorrect. I've not heard of a politician in the past twenty years who isn't corrupt.  I've come to believe that a non-corrupt politician is an extint creater gone like the dinosure and the passager pigen.  I hold drug dealers in higher reguard that politicians at least drug dealers are honest for the most part about what they are doing.

Just after posting I realized I should have said "I would be surprised" (as opposed to expressing doubt), so, yes, I am surprised you mean all of them. I would agree with you there are many corrupt politicians, however- I don't believe this holds true for all of them (I'll spare you my examples) just like I don't believe all rich people or all CEOs are necessarily evil.

That said, what do you think of a politician who happens to be a drug dealer? (Once again, no need to mention examples...)

Whats the old say about firmality leading to contempt?  The past 10 years or so I've been forced to deal with lots of politicians and the more dealing I have with them the less respect I have for them.  I'm beginning to think the most honest politician I've ever meet was one that was a mob lawyer on the side.  As for a politician that was a drug dealer will I'd think he will have more to answer for in the next life from being a politician than a drug dealer.   Since I support legalizing drugs I'd say selling drugs is illegal but not immoral as a politician most of what he does is most likely legal just very immoral.

Huzzah to that! I support the legalization of some drugs- like ones that ease pain- and I say this as someone who has never used any illegal drug- ever! (I can't stand the smell). CEOs who are are power junkies need detox and rehabilitation. Quick.
