Is there a limit to Renmail?

I received a message that I can't send any more Renmail for an hour because I had exceeded 20 Renmails.

I've never seen that before.  Actually, I have only sent a few Renmails to multiple members.

Interesting enough few weeks ago I got the same message.

There is a limiter to restrict messages to 20 per hour and a max of 10 recipients per message.

To add a bit to what Tom has mentioned here, the reason why this is in place is to keep spammers from flooding our system when they manage to get through our defenses.
