Mail Exchange

I don't think I've posted about this on the new(er) forums here, so it seems high time I do so.  For those already on the list, I have emailed you as of a few moments ago. 

The RF Mail Exchange is an ongoing "pen pal" sort of thing.  I keep a list of everyone involved and everyone involved also gets a copy of the list.  You are free to mail each other letters/cards/etc at any time.  It is an open-ended, send to whom you want when you want as often as you want, sort of thing.  The only "requirement" is that you send to your partner for each month.  Each month, I draw names and contact you to let you know who you need to send to that month.  This only ensures that everyone is getting at least one thing in the mail each month. 

Anyone who is a member here is welcome to join our list.  And, of course, to leave at any time if you decide you don't like it/don't have time/etc.  Anyhow, the "official" intro I qrote up some time ago says it all much better, so I shall post that here.  If anyone is interested, email me at seryn93@gmail.com.  Here is the "official" introduction, which explains things much better

Welcome to the R/F Forum Mail Exchange!  I will send you the complete list so far of everyone involved.   I've included some important information about the mail exchange below, so please take a  moment to look this over.

What can you send?
- Letters
- Postcards
- Pictures
- Favors
- Trinkets of whatever sort
- Cards
- Stickers
- Anything to brighten someone's day!

When to send and to whom:
- Once you have the list, feel free to send to anyone at anytime.  You can send something to each person if you'd like.  Or maybe you'd just like to send out 2 or 3 postcards to a few different people on the list.  You can send as little or as much as you'd like as often as you'd like.  That's part of the fun - you'll never know when someone will send you something to brighten your day!
- There will be organized monthly sends.

Monthly sends:
- Each month, I will choose a partner for each person on the list at random via the good old fashioned "drawing out of hat" method.
- Keep in mind that the person who's name you get may not be ther person for whom your name was drawn. 
- As stated above, you are not limited to sending only to your partner, nor are you limited to sending once a month.  The reason for the organized send is simply so that everyone gets at least one piece of mail per month and no one is accidentally left out. 
- As stated above, you can send to anyone you'd like at any time, as often as you'd like.  The only person you "have" to send to each motnh is your partner. 

A few more things:
- If ever a month goes by and you do not get at least one piece of mail, please let me know, because this means that someone is not participating. 
- If any one ever send you something rude or inappropriate, please let me know.  (Obviously, we do not anticipate this being a problem.  We're a great group!)

Participation and leaving the list:
-The "rules" for participation are simple - send when you want, to who you want, but please send to your partner each month.  I understand that things happen - we get busy or situations arise in our lives where we can no longer participate.  If that is the case, please let me know if you can so that I can remove you from the list.  Remember, the only person I request you ABSOLUTELY send to is your partner each month.  As long as you can do that and you would like to remain on the list - wonderful!  But if you feel you need to leave the list, please renmail or email me and let me know.
- You can always get  back on the list later, so if you do leave, don't worry!
- Please, do not simply cease participation.  If you cannot or do not wish to send mail any longer, please renmail me or email me and let me know.  It would be unfair for others to spend their time thinking of and writing to you without your willingness to actively participate.
- If it is brought to my attention somehow that you are not participating, I will try once to contact you before removing you from the list.  (But if you want back on later, you can!)
