March 21st: McLotofus Vampire/Twilight Appreciation Night UPDATED

Well Y'all,

I figured it was about time for Spikey and Juju   Blue and Ace to try their hand at hosting a gathering.

This is quite new and in the planning process, so please excuse me for not having all the deets worked out just yet.

I just wanted to go ahead and reserve a spot on everyone's calendar in March, in honor of several things (of which will be named shortly.)

So..that said.

Occasion: Well, many of my lovely McLotofus wenchies are all fellow Twilight fanatics; and I've been thinking for a while how awesome it would be to have a Twilight party on the DVD's release date. I was also thinking of how Kris/NightWolf/Spikey and I have not yet hosted a gathering and invited you all to our place for a party. I was also thinking my (-cough-mumble-birthday-cough-mumble-) was close to the date of the Twilight DVD release. Lastly, I was just thinking I'd love an excuse to make a post and list out things

If you don't like Twilight, that is okay! If you like Rennies, good drinks, a very nice party room with pool tables, a pool nearby, good eats, vampire flicks, romance flicks, etc, then get out of those stuffy coffins and float on over to our lair!

So this will be called the "Vampire Appreciation Night." March McLotofus event. We WILL be watching Twilight as our primary feature that night, preceeded and follwed by additional Vampish selections (Queen of the Dmned, Underworld, maybe even an old school Dracula, anyone?). I will also be working on perhaps some vampy games, themed drinks and food!

Attire is entirely up to you. I would say those of you whom are big Twilight fans, wear your gear, or maybe we could all go for a slightly vamped-out look Rawrrr, baby, Rawrr! Those of you that don't want to wear fangs, corsets, faux blood, etc, feel free to come in your 'danes. I just am warning you all now, though, the wenchies and I will likely be vamped/twilight-ed out (corsets are encouraged, if not appreciated!)

Can't wait till March! I hope all of you can make it out for a BITE or two (hahah!..okay..I really need some new material!)!

You don't have to watch Twilight. We will have pool tables, a pool nearby, and other fun things for you men folk and non Twilight-ers to do. We also will have other Vampire flicks playing that night. Twilight is just the highlight of the evening.

Dennis and I will be there- but we may need to bring my youngest.  He is cute and cuddly and plays very well on his own.  Is that okay?  Otherwise our attendance and me being in hoocie attire will be dependent on sitter status.
