Gotta disagree.  I think it is typical of Sci Fi channel C level junk.  It definitely isn't Battlestar level quality.

To each their own, I guess. I'm not a Battlestar fan, myself; that show didn't appeal to me. I thought Moonlight put a fresh new spin on the usual Vampire stuff; a more believable, modern-day sort of vamp. I guess we can agree to disagree, lol.

But we can agree that Kate Beckinsale is HAWT! I'll drink to that! And as Selene the Vampire, especially...oh yeah!..Rawr!

Now see what y'all started....  I'm going to have to get my Anne Rice library out and read these books all over again.  ;D I couldn't stand Tom Cruise as Lestat, but Brad sure was yummy.

If only Rutger Hauer could have been Lestat....
