Anyone heard anything about this faire, or gone to it?

Lady Renee Buchanan

Wonderful small faire.  Put on by the Janesville JCs.  We've been going to it since the first year.  A lot of the staff and entertainment is from Bristol.

Usually Steve and I go on the Sunday.  This year, I can  only make it on Saturday, without Steve.

Last year we became our own non-profit organization focused on supporting the local community and providing scholarships for local students.  Last year we were able to provide funds to the local Jaycees, Kiwanis, a local breast cancer support network, and provide two scholarships for students in the area.  Thanks to all the patrons that come through and have a good time, we can help the community grow!

I like the radio spot but do not understand why the Rennie has to be portrayed with such a geeky voice. Perpetuates a negative stereotype '-)
Also, can peace-tied weapons be worn to this faire? See you at the faire.
Where's the Beer Tent!

Chris Last

Sheathed and peace tied weapons are welcome at the event!

Thank You!

Yippee, Renee is going to be there Saturday!!!  Along with many other R/F folks whom I wish to see.  Knowing that they run a restaurant, I'd figured she and her husband would be going Sunday when I won't be there :-(.

Excellent!!!!!!!

We have a church related event in Chicago on Sunday, so I will be either going by myself on Saturday or maybe a couple of girlfriends will go, too.  Steve won't be able to go this year.

There's always next year!

My two friends backed out on Saturday.  I don't mind making the drive by myself, but don't want to be by myself walking around.  Anybody want to hang out for the day?

I'm sad!  Not going to make Janesville today.

Still fighting off bronchitis, on second round of medicine.  When I saw the weather forecast this morning - high 59 degrees with 20-30 MPH winds - I knew that I'd freeze, even with a wool cape.

And I don't want to take the chance of pneumonia or ending up in the hospital, with my lowered immune system, so there's always next year.

This is the first year since the faire opened that Steve and I won't be there.  We love going to Janesville and will just have to look forward to 2010.

Hail my friends,

I just finished posting my Janesville Renaissance Faire pictures from when I went Saturday. It was a wonderful weekend with great friends. Even though the wind was gusty at times, the day turned out well and everyone seemed to be having fun. If anyone is interested, just follow the link below to see the pictures.

Thank you kind Sir for the compliment. It is too bad we didn't get to meet. But, Bristol I will be at for so many weekends. Not sure if opening weekend will be one of them at the moment.
