Here is where I hope to be

Tom and I have become SCA members so on the one hand we have fewer weekends open for faire visits but on the other hand we have a spiffy new tent and accessories so that faire visits won't have to include the expense of a hotel.

4/4 Frankenfeast
(4/25 Andelcrag Althing)

MiRF 8/15 - 8/16 is a definite for us.  Planning to camp Thurs - Sun.  Other than that, it's pretty up in the air.  We're hoping to be able to do at least one or two more weekends beyond that.

Huzzah!!!
How very exciting!!!!

I love to see all the differnt things we all do threw the year.  I think it's wonderful that there are so many different events taking place here in MI and in other states that we all go to. There are so many people out there that don't even know about ren faires, highland festivals, SCA and the likes.  And yet we have a vast community of people that not only attend the larger events, but also the small ones.  With the economy so terrible, it's great to see that rennies are still getting out there to support the faires and festivals.  Not to mention getting together for a pint and a song with friends.

And we just got our pop-up camper yesterday.  It needs some fixing up, but it will allow us to do SOOOO much more this summer as far as travleing to faires and fests.  I am very excited!!!

Maybe that means I can add to my to-attend list.....heheheh

For me and hubby and Lucy, it's hard to say.

4th April - Frankenfeast/Frankenmuth, MI

No Mayfaire this year (sorry) but my little trip to Detroit on the 16th to the 18th to see IL DIVO cost a lot of money and wouldn't miss this concert for the world. :)

Definitely Silver Leaf on the 19th of July as it's my birthday, probably another weekend either in July or August, we shall see.

MIRF in August/September for definite and the same for MMRF in October, can't really decide on what dates though due to hubby working.

Renaissance Masque, also definitely. :)

Sorry I can't be more specific with dates, this is all I can give you.
The more you worry, the longer it will take.

Frankenfeast this coming Sat.
Mayfaire and SilverLeaf are still unknowns.
Definitely at least a few weekends of MIRF.
At least 1 weekend of MMRF.
Would love to go to a Masque, but it's at a very busy time of year for hubby, so it's not that likely.
When everything seems to be coming your way...
...you're in the wrong lane!

LadyMeg

Let's see... where will I be...

May 23 or 25, and 31st:  Mayfaire
June 20th or 21st: Derbyshire
July-August:  Silverleaf (though this depends on summer jobs and what happens there)
Sept. 6th, 20th, 28th:  MiRF

At least that's the idea.

I popped into this thread being nosy, and I see that several of you will be visiting my home faire, Bristol this summer.  We usually go just about every weekend on a Sunday, and I organize the Meet & Greets for both days of the weekend.  Hope to meet you there.

There is 1 weekend that I will be out of state attending a wedding, July 18-19, though I will still organize the Meet & Greet.  For those coming that weekend, sorry to miss you, hopefully you'll visit Bristol again in the future.

I know the first weekend, there will be some Minnesota folks there, so you'll have an opportunity to meet even more than the Bristol attendees.

More will be posted in the Bristol thread as the time gets closer.  Only 104 days till opening gate!
