Saw a comment about how it can be made just a little more HA.  What would you change about this pattern?

I'm wondering about the "undersleeves" that have ties.  Did this happen on the original gowns?

Yes, the undersleeves, or false sleeves, had ties from what I've seen.   I've got to get the pattern out and really take a look at it to make any suggestions regarding it.
