Well, season has come to an end but the memories remain.

My heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew and craftsmen of BARF who put together such a wonderful production this season. Thank you to the musicians and stage and lane acts that put up with the dust and heat and contract negotiations to bring us such wonderful music and laughter. You all rock.  :)

A big huzzah and thanks to Next and his crew for pulling the Tea together for us and coraling a table for us all. Thanks also Ladyfaire for marshalling the seating.  :)

As for the memories...I currently find myself trying desperatly to get the vision from my brain of the hankie and the Men in tights competition.... :D :D :D :D You had to be there....

I've a kalidascope of memories in my brain, too hard to list I think, but I'm glad for the laughter that was shared in the lanes.

'Till we all meet again.

I didn't have the chance to see your or NoBill. Yes, Sundays were my only days, with only one Saturday morning thrown in. Didn't even make every Sunday. Ah well, you take it as it comes I guess.

I'll be at John Levique, most likely Sunday, but hopefully for a bit on Saturday as well. You'll be there? Hopefully we can visit then.  :)

My hankie is being WASHED as I write this!

No doubt!  :D

Such a hot day. It was so kind of Her Majesty to offer the gentleman the use of her hankie to wipe the sweat from his...brow...?  ;D

LOL! Saw that, front row seat to that action! Too bad I had a hard time concentrating on the action at hand though as during Men in Tights my mom who told me she was just fine called me from the care center. Needless to say, I left soon after the phone call to see that our R/F friends Escarlata and her husband had offered to escort her to tea since she was feeling better. Whew! l So nice to have good friends at BARF that we can count on. ;)

Lady Anna I am so glad I was finally able to visit with you even if it was only during tea! Wish we could have met up sooner, but I guess I missed alot of folks that day including some of my dance sisters who were there and I only spotted and chatted with two them. LOL!

I too thank everyone for everything they do. It's the R/F'ers, the cast and court that bring me back every year! I love having this to look forward too and every year I seem to get to learn more about our little town and meet new folks.

Yes, until we all meet again. How long till we get that countdown going again? LOL!

Great to enjoy tea again with you  again Mmketeer. Don't be a stranger. This shot of you and your mom came out pretty well...

Thanks to everyone for making this faire the best I've been to in my 17 years of going to various faires -- and for making me feel welcome in Florida.  Here are a few shots I don't think I've posted that yet.

Queen's Tea (even if a bit sweet), was a great way to close

Obviously the King heard about Queen's Tea.

OK, this never happened to me in my kilt...

Awww....

And now for a familiar sight

I only saw Lady Catherine scared once...

Hmmm.. I'd better not comment

To the sponsor and the pet.

Dreadmore always had women following him and never shared.

WTF?

I'd like to take a moment here to rectify a situation...
I've never properly thanked someone who has provided me with many pictures, many smiles and many hours of pleasurable company.

I know he doesn't get to be there every day and every weekend and that makes the time we get to spend with him even more special...

so without further ado, I'd like to thank Jason Broadway for making this season that much more enjoyable with his ever-present smile and his uplifting attitude... and some marvelous pictures that I'll have to see about getting posted!

Thanks, Jason!

I missed what happened with your mom... but you know, I have a story to tell that most of you probably missed as well.
See, while I was at the Tea, my sister was outside with my nephews... indeed, they snuck in and ate my dessert, not that I needed dessert at my size lol... but anyway... she was mouthing to me "you owe me big"

I stepped outside briefly to ask her what she was talking about and she said she had been hit in the face (by accident, of course) by a parasol.  The result was a papercut over her eye on her brow.

So she left and went down to the Flagship Tavern while we were wrapping up Tea.  Apparently while there, my nephew was playing with the catapistol I had bought him for his birthday earlier in the day... and shot a peanut that hit an intoxicated woman at a neighbouring table.  Said intoxicated woman (I am being nice and not using the description given me by the eyewitnesses to the event) came over and told my sister that if she wouldn't "pop the kid in the face" that SHE'D be happy to do it for her.
When my sister told her not to threaten her 7 year old son...you guessed it, folks... said intoxicated woman punched my sister in the eye and sent her to the ground.

Security tossed this individual out... walked her to the gate... but, of course, my sister ended up with a bit of a shiner and considering my nephew's mishap the weekend before, I am beginning to think a helmet with full visor might be a good idea for any future visits by any of them.

Mmketeer, I'm sorry too we didn't have the chance to spend more time together. I should have made a point of meeting you earlier in the day, it just flew by so quickly, as did the entire season.

One other thankyou shout out to Treeman and Esc and Leinad. They seem to be the heros of the day. :) I completly forgot to get a tea ticket...duh..until miday and by then the show was sold out. Yikes. Thought I was gonna have to beg borrow or steal my way in. Treeman, knowing Esc and Leinad had a few spare tickets was kind enough to locate them by phone for me so I could purchase one of theirs. Much appreciated.  :) :)

LOL! That was a pretty big grin. ;) Oh if that picture doesn't show what a great time we were all having at tea, I don't know what will.  LOL! Thanks for sharing it Squire Mickey (man of my favorite name in the whole wide world) ;). It is always a pleasure to see you. You are so funny and talented. You should be in the cast!

Sooooo sorry to hear about this, my good Count!  Seems like there always has to be at least one (*@&$%@*$&( sooner or later in the season to marr an otherwise perfect day.  Hope she's mending as quickly as your nephew did!

Aye, Ambios... she was angry with me that I wasn't there to scare the woman off...
in my experience, those who get that drunk and beligerent lose the ability to know when they should be scared... so chances are it would have done no good to have been there...

I am just glad Security tossed her.
