I was wondering if this had been brought up yet! This is not a joke...House Resolution 669 (HR669) was essentially make it illegal to breed or sell any nonnative animals - hamster, guinea pigs, most pet birds and reptiles and almost every aquarium fish. I'm a marine biologist with an aquarium and pet supply company and can safely say this would destroy the pet industry and put people in stores like mine out of jobs, not to mention make it almost impossible to get almost any pets other than cats, dogs and goldfish.
