Where would you prefer to camp?

Spirit Mountain
Ogston's RV Park
Saginaw Campground

As an addendum to Goody's post, I thought I would set up a poll to see what people prefer.  With that being said, this is what we know about the three sites:

All three campsites accommodate RV's.

All three have shower facilities.

Spirit Mountain is the most idea for tent camping. (Choice of privacy and tree canopy cover) But it is also the furthest from faire. (20 minutes maybe?)

Saginaw and Ogston's are closer but are less suitable for tents. (open air and near roads/train tracks)

See Goody's Original Thread for more details.

Unfortunately this will be my first trip to Twig therefore I know nothing about any of the sites, so I will have to defer to those of you with experience, the only thing I can vote for is a location that will accomadate my pop-up tent trailer and electrical hook-up for my machine ...

I didn't do a poll because I know people are looking for different things and thus it would be better to have people camp at different places based on their preferences.

Hoping this will spell it out:

ie: *if you have younger kids you may prefer to camp at Saginaw with people who are bringing children

*If you prefer tree cover and don't mind a hike there's walk-in at Spirit MT. if you don't want a lil hike  then pay $10-12 for tree cover and yes it's a 20 min drive to fest

* If trees aren't a big deal then there's Ogston's which is less than 5 mins from fest

Yes, I understand why you didn't do a poll Goody, but at the same time I thought it might be nice to see where everybody wants to stay.   :)  Some people may want to follow a bigger group to camp with or get ideas of what people prefer from previous stays.

My plans are set for Twig, I have reserved site #46  at Spirit Mountain Campground to park my camper for Friday 12th, Saturday 13th, and Sunday 14th, then driving back home on Monday the 15th, it's near the Upper walk-in tent sites A thru F and the shower building if anyone is interested in camping close as a group.

We have reservations at the Spirit Mountain campground as well - walk-in site A.  We're arriving Friday, June 12 and leaving on Monday.

Twig is June 13th and 14th this year.

Well fest starts at 10A so I'd say I'll have the bakes outta the oven at 9am. If we leave at 9:40 we'd be to fest by 10. If people wanna be there earlier for opening they'll have to eat faster!! I think this should work ok!

Looks like the wife, kid and I will be going Sat. We have the inlaws north of Twig in Chisholm to stay with.
Last year was our first year there. We had a great time. We have invited quite a few people who knew nothing about it. Hope some of them go.
Hope it is a nice weekend.
