I see a few Clan M'Crack members and pets will be there on opening weekend.....Now lets see if you can all find each other.....

I would like to see a picture of all that gathered in Bristol.....

Laird, I ran all around Bristol and asked everyone I spoke to if they belong to Clan M'Crack.  I couldn't find anybody.  I asked people in the pub, in the lanes, at shows, in the Friends of Faire Garden.  If they were there, they didn't come to the Meet & Greet on Sunday (and Steve and I were there about an hour and a half waiting for early arrivals and/or late comers).  So there was 1 M'Crack pet in attendance - me!

Hail my friends,

Sorry I missed the meet n greet, but I got so busy talking with old friends I forgot both days. Even though I was reminded. But, last night I finished putting up my Bristol Renaissance Faire week 1 pictures from this past weekend 7/11 - 7/12/09. Was a nice time had by all. It was great to see many of my friends I have not seen since last season, as well as other performers. It was also a pleasure to meet several new people from the boards and other faires. And, our very own Bishop of York, from the Upper Wisconsin Faire made the journey down on Sunday as well. The weather was in the low 80's, but the humidity was only in the 40's, making it very comfortable. I wish all weekends were like this one. Anyway, the faire runs until labor Day, so there is plenty of time to stop down this summer. I may be at Silver Leaf in Michigan next weekend instead of Bristol, but then should be back after that. I will see as it gets later in the week. If anyone is going to be there, let me know.

In the meantime, if anyone is interested, just follow the link below to see the pictures. Then click on the appropriate link once there.

Great pictures!  If anyone got pictures of the joust can you post?  One of the guys ordered new colors (joust garb) and I was wondering if he got to wear them this weekend and how they looked on the horse.  Thanks!

This was my first visit to the Bristol Renaissance Faire, and I must say it was the most beautiful faire I have ever been to!  I had such a wonderful time.  I miss it already.

Sigh and now you know how I feel after working and playing there for 13 years and now live in Arkansas.
