I registered over a month ago and my account has still not been activated. I e-mailed the admin but got no response. I really would like to participate. Anybody on the board that could maybe send a pm or make a post? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There is no real moderator/owner at the moment, and the site gets hundreds of spam registrations every day, with no one having time to go through them.

The name in the registration e-mail is Tom Charney, Bristol Board Admin. If someone who is currently a member of the board would be willing to pass along our dilemma I'm sure our registrations could be activated.

I will be seeing his dear wife Saturday, so I will mention this and ask the best way to get this accomplished.

I've had the same problem ladies. I WAS on the old Board but after they switched everything over I haven't been able to get on there.

Just an FYI, the Bristol Board admin is back on the job. He asks that anyone who has tried to register at the Bristol Board in the last months come back and register again. He probably had to clear out some legitimate requests along with the over 10,000 spammer requests.

The administrator posted early this morning that the board would be down for maintenance. It's after 7 p.m. central time, and it's still not available. He also said that when it came back up, if you tried to sign in and couldn't, then you would have to sign up again for an account.

When you go to bring up the board, it says "Sorry, this site is not available now." I'm guessing that when it's back, you will no longer be able to see that. It will probably have a sign in page again. And if it doesn't work when you sign in, you might have to reapply, as I mentioned in an earlier post.

I feel sorry for the administrators on that site if they really have to go through that amount of spam. The other places on www.bristolboard.com work if you click on them, just not their forum.

I hope it comes back soon, since it's only 6 days until opening. Not the most opportune time to reconfigure the board, or whatever they are doing!

Tho there are tiny little problems still. Click on the link at the TOP of the page not the center, for some reason it's not going to where it's supposed to go.
