JoAnn Fabrics has Simplicity patterns for $1.99 today and tomorrow! Just in time, too. I need to make Scarlett O'Hara's green curtain dress for a play, and I have not a single civil war era pattern.  ;D

Oh, terrific! I need Simplicity's new Mad Hatter pattern to make the Much Ado military jacket for Milord!  And also I needed a reason to go to JoAnn. LOL!

I did find a close pattern in Vogue.  It is #1172.  I would recomend just using the bodice and making a better skirt to go on it. Looks great on stage btw :)
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

At least up through this weekend:
Hancock sale - $1.99 Simplicity patterns; McCalls 5 for $5
Joann Fabrics - Simplicity 99 cent

**sorry - don't remember the exact dates

Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

Not necessarily a Sale, but a new SIMPLICITY Pattern in the suedo-Victorian/Steampunk genre. This pattern has possibilities.

Things are shaping up to be...
Pretty. Odd.

Lady Rebecca

But unfortunately, Joanns (mine, at least) is not carrying any of the new patterns for spring yet (such as the one Lady Kathleen posted).

Anybody heard of any pattern sales on Kwik Sew patterns?  I need some good strech patterns and they seem to have the best ones.

LadyStitch, it's not much a sale, but Fabric.com has Kwik Sew for 15% off TODAY 3/10. It's the deal of the day and only runs thru midnight.

LadyStitch

Turns out I didn't need to get the Kwik sew patterns, I thought I did, but I'm going to keep my eye out for when Hancock has them 50-75% off again, and might pick up some of their spandex designs for my library.  Sooner or later I'm going to have to make something that I can't find in stores.
Unless someone knows of a better company to get spandex patterns from.
