I bought a pair of goggles. I added some brass wire and the brass wire bracelet hanging down on one side.

There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

I put together my first steampunk costume. The vest is a stand-in for a corset I'm making. I haven't had much time to sew lately. Part of it consists of pieces from my normal wardrobe that I modified, and part of it, items I bought and altered specifically for it. I tried two different jackets on with it.

I'm partially Scottish, partially Irish, and there's a small amount of Native American somewhere in there...

Thanks! I got it at Good Will for $8, stitched up the holes in the lining, and replaced the plastic, brown buttons it had with some spiffier ones.
