I don't normally buy cloth online, but seeing as most of my local shops have closed, and I'm currently car less so I'm working with what i've got. I'm starting my yearly sewing. Pants, skirts and the like and fabric.com has lightweight broadcloth.

Now I know light weight for different materials means different things but is lightweight broadcloth ok for pants and skirts?

Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I don't want to order a bunch of it only for it to be useless. Any other suggestions would be helpful

Send for swatches to see what it's like.

Quilter's Broadcloth is a bit heavier, which gives it stability and is sturdy. I use a lot of that for Shirts, Skirts, and Bloomers.

There's Kona and Egyptian Cotton Broadcloths that are more expensive, but also sturdy and durable.

Good luck in finding what you want . JoAnn Fabrics and Hancocks have online fabrics if there are no stores near you.
