Does anyone have a source for material that is 10 feet wide? And decently priced.

Thanks, Jon.

GirlChris

I know a good source, but unfortunately you can only get 60" lengths...

Good find Adriana. They have one item that may work for me...

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to tell you what I want to make. For studio photography 10 foot wide muslin backdrops are commonly used. The length can be anywhere from 10 feet long up to 24 feet long. They can get extremely expensive depending on the colors, patterns or even images dyed or painted onto them. I would like to make a few of my own but it's beginning to look like the cost for the raw material may not be best the best option in some cases. For example, I just ordered a 10'x24' muslin for $69.95 with free shipping. When it gets here it will be ready to use. Buying material and painting or dyeing it to make the same backdrop would cost me way more in this case.

Here's a picture of the one I just ordered:

My sister is a photographer and runs a studio out of her home.  She frequently purchases different backdrop fabrics for different shoots...  I should ask her where she gets hers.  If I get ahold of her, I'll let you know what she says.

I am REALLY glad you posted that link, Jon!  Milord has been wanting me to get some fabric for photographic backgrounds, and I keep telling him to order photographers' backdrops, but he says he can't find any!

Problem solved. Ha!

Gem, here's the link to the overstock pages for backgrounds at Adorama. There are other places to buy but these guys are pretty mainstream and competitive...

FortuneRose, that would be great.

RenRobin, that might be a good idea. I'll have to see what the local stores have.
