Cross posted from the Jolly Rogers fan club group-Sorry there is not a lot of time to make plans.  It's not on the 2009 Festival Park list of events yet, since they just secured the venue.
  It will be at the same site as the Des Moines Renaissance Fair the weekend before the regular fair starts, convenient if you are already working DMRF.



Greetings from the crew of Shipwrecked Pirate Music Festival!

We are currently seeking pirate sponsors, entertainers and vendors for Shipwrecked 2009. We have secured Saturday, August 29, 2009 as our festival date and are in current negotiations with Sleepy Hollow Sports Park in Des Moines, IA for our venue location. Please contact us if you are still interesting in being a part of Shipwrecked Pirate Music Festival. We are starting small this year but have plans, as always, to grow the festival in the coming years!

PERFORMERS
We are seeking entertainers to do 45-60 minute stage sets. We may announce a second stage if we have enough talent interest and we may schedule roaming performers as well. If you are interested, please email operations@shipwrec kedfest.com with your asking price and rider requirements for a 45-60 minute show.

VENDORS
We are still in the process of pricing 10x20 vendor spots with electricity but are considering a flat $150 fee for the day including electricity. There will be no percentages of sales either, just a flat $150. Your feedback on this would be appreciated.

SPONSORS
We are developing a sponsorship package as well but are entertaining the idea of swapping sponsorships for services (i.e. advertising in pirate publications etc).

Please contact as soon as we were late in getting the venue so time is a rare commodity. Thanks for all your patience as we have journeyed to make Shipwrecked Pirate Music Festival the best premier talent showcase of pirate entertainment and culture.
