Child Vest

M'lady is going to attempt to make a simple vest for our 9 year old son.  Any ideas out there as far as where to get patterns and a little sewing help.  She does very little sewing, so it would be nice for it to be simple.  We have bought the fabric for the lining and outer.

Mccalls #5907, #5446, #4952 are easy, and I don't sew!

For *very simple,* I'd try some of the holiday pageant patterns, like Simplicity 4797.

(Haven't had a chance to check out Lady Renee's recs, but I'm sure they're great!)

Just be aware, though, that usually it's a good idea to consult the pattern before buying fabric, just to be sure you buy the right amount, and that it's suitable for the item you're making.

McCalls and Simplicity are really easy to follow and use.  Although I think Simplicity can sometimes be the easiest of the 2 to use.
