Its supposed to be 102 today with 48% humidity in Dallas. Makes me wish I were going with you. Just earlier this week in Colorado I had to wear a jacket in the morning to keep warm. Being back at work is a bummer.

A Jacket? In the mornin? In Colorado?  Not this time of year unless maybe you where up on Trailridge or Mt Evans. If it's 45 in the morning inthe summer, it is just about perfect. Anything hotter than 65 starts getting to hot in the morning and usually signals a hot day... unless rain and winds show up in the PM, then it gets very humid.

Yup you flat landers and South landers thinking it's cold at 45- 60... Nope just about perfect for a native.

Hey- Arent You?

heh.
it's interesting how one gets used to ones own climate.  I run through fairsite at 97deg, and it's hot, but no big deal.
same 97 in Scarby has humidity, and I could barely move.  yet the lowland water breathers come up here, still think it's hot and start springing nosebleeds all over the place..... then say, there's no air, I can't breathe.... I go there, air's too thick, I can't breathe.  then theres the whole alcohol thing, I could not get drunk in Scarby to save my life...

I don't drink beer out of a can. To do that would require me to Drink Coors or Bud. Instead i prefer New Belgium out of a bottle or tap, as well as O'Dells (NOT ODOULS) and Blue Moon. Not to mention Coppersmiths and many other Micro-brew places.

OH and afterwards I can recylce the glass in the bottle by eating it... Well maybe not

so...I have a problem....plans have drastically changed....I am now FLYING to denver alone....would someone be willing to pick me up at the airport and deliver me to the faire grounds and to the knights?
I haven't been able to get ahold of Bryan to ask him to come get me and I'm looking at all of my options....if someone is willing I can figure out when it is best that I fly in.

You'd have to have a VERY early flight into DIA if you did it on a Saturday as DIA is over 1.5 hours from the faire on a normal day. DIA is extreme North East Denver and faire is Larkspur which is about 10 minutes soouth of Castle Rock which is 15 - 30 minutes south of Denver And since gates open at 10, most of us get there on Saturday at around 8:30 or 9. So you'd have to be in DIA by 6 or so in the morning. Your best bet is to fly in on a Friday

I was thinking Thursday or Friday....thursday if I can get into contact with someone from Joust camp....friday if i can't
And I was thinking flying into Denver International....but is a smaller airport cheaper?
