NOW it's really getting real. Lol.  I, at least, don't have to worry about camping until AHE but I like to be good to go on everything, except food & booze by Opening...

I kind of wish we could get down there for opening one of these years... but I don't want the heat, so it's probably best that we wait until AHE, anyway!  Still waiting on the insurance for the van so we can get it all fixed and running smoothly, and get the tent, as well.  We'll be setting it up out in the backyard to test it out, and to seam-seal it all... and to show everyone the inflatable tent!  LOL  I seriously hope it's as cool as it looks in the video... 

Started our Master List, finally... and it's already got too much stuff on it!    Have to start pulling the garb bins out, and freshening everything up.  Probably going to wash all the "underpinnings", because chemises and petticoats are lovely when they're all nice and fresh from the dryer, instead of smelling like plastic storage bins!  It would be nice to have the super walk-in garb closet that takes up a space the size of my bedroom... I suppose I could just sleep in my closet, and let the garb have the bigger space, eh?  lol

OMG... I was just told by the Dodge dealership that there IS NO WAY to disconnect the alarm system in my van.  That they will have to reprogram the computer that controls it, so that it works correctly... but that it would cost MUCH more to have it disconnected, if it even COULD be disconnected... they didn't even know if it was possible, and wanted me to make an appt to drop it off, and leave it for several days so that they could... do whatever they wanted to it... and have me come and pick it up some time in the future, and pay whatever they felt like charging me. 

Ok, I paraphrased just a bit... but that is the gist.

Is there any sort of Meet-n-Greet thread this year?  I don't think I saw one in the TRF forum line-up.  Did it actually happen at Indulgences last season?   

Lady Alecia, be sure to look around for people wearing R/F pins, also, and introduce yourself to them/us!  If you get yourself a pin before you come out and wear it, someone from here is likely to spot it, and introduce themselves to you, as well!  You can find them here.  Looking forward to meeting you both!

If I'm not mistaken, there are no benches, but the trees do have those built up wall thingies at sitting level.

And the parade route seems to be going clockwise like last year.
