Crickets can actually CLIMB... and they are crawling all over the walls of any building that has lights on it at night... or anywhere they can... do whatever it is they are doing, period!  They are also in EVERY store that has automatic doors... to the point where they can't sweep them out as fast as they can crawl in and end up squished ALL OVER the aisles! 

It's mating season for the brown field cricket... and they have chosen OKC this year, for some reason.  I just found this newscast, and it's not even close to showing the whole picture...

Oddly enough, however... there really isn't much chirping going on.  You would think it would be deafening out there, right?  But, no...

I'm not really a fan of chocolate covered bugs, thanks... but I do agree that you could do a LOT of fishing with all of them!  Well... if the fish around here weren't already FULL of crickets, anyway!  We need to ship some of them down there, I guess...

I agree... and hopefully the little buggers (<see what I did there? ) will be well on their merry way somewhere else by then, and out of HERE, as well! 

Instead of an infestation... maybe an INVASION is in order!
