Tried power-walking in my boots yesterday... Not too shabby! Still, I'll take another pair of faire shoes just in case my feet have other plans for me! Just a few more days! Cubette will be there wearing her chainmaille headpiece (at least until she decides she wants to take it off and mumble "go!")! LOL

Oh, crap... I still have to go back down to the city and get the wiper blade motor switched out before we can take a road trip!  And top off all the fluids.  Was going to get a full tune up first, but my mech switched out the plugs for free when he replaced the valve cover seal last month, so the rest can wait.  I have to check on a couple of decent used tires for the front end, also... and get the spare put back underneath the rear end, since my aunt was never able to get it back under there after using it once.  Then get the back bench seat out and put into the shed... and we'll be ready to start packing!
