Yes, last Saturday was hot and humid, then the 35-minute rain came.  I'm looking forward to coming back.  My fiance wants to go for the Highland Fling weekend.

Looking forward to a fresh infusion of smoke smell for my cloak, because it's started to fade since the last time we were down there!

Yes, be safe, and stay warm!  It's chilly up here today, and only going to get into the low 60°s!  It's been a while since you've lived anywhere THIS far north!  LOL 

Wish I could come up and see you this weekend... but I'm glad you are going to get to hang with Nasty at some point!

The hubby and I will be driving in as soon as I get off on Friday morning (I will be sleeping on the way in) for AHE.  Any suggestions on where to camp?  It is our 1st AHE.  We typically go on Highland Fling.

There are several clans that frequent these forums and all of us are welcoming of new folks. Your welcome to join us at Phoenix Risen if you wish, we have several others coming (Bayou Scoundrels) from louisianna as well

Lady Alecia, if you look at the first page of the TRF who/when/where thread you will see a map of the campgrounds, and it will show you on the grid where Phoenix Risen sets up camp.  You can print that map, and when you get to the gate just ask the guard how to get to that area of the campgrounds.  We're sort of on one end, in a "loop" of the road... and if you aren't sure if it's us just stop and ask someone.  If you're even close then someone should be able to point us out!    See you this weekend!!!
