Let The Countdown Begin!

I can not sit still at work! Faire is coming .... and there is packing to be done! I have the piles ready, now to fold and place everything in its bin/bag and pack the truck! SQUEEE!!!!


And I am looking at the clock every few minutes asking, is it faire yet?

You ready, Rani?  When are you guys rolling out?

We're just about ready, Fraser!  Still have a little grocery shopping to do, and the van to load up... but the garb bin is all packed, and I'm sorting through the accessories bin right now.  Camping gear is piled in the middle of the living room floor... and it's all just waiting to go into the van, which, at this point, is pretty much an open cargo van, since I took the two back bench seats out the other day.  It looks like we MIGHT be ready to leave about 8-10 hours earlier than we usually do!  I don't like to roll through Dallas during rush hour, though... but we're thinking about maybe taking the western route, down 35W, instead... so we can avoid all of the traffic stupidity from Huntsville to Conroe.  Might be time to change up the route a little. 

We usually head out somewhere between 1-2am on Friday, and get there between 10am-noon.  If we leave earlier than that, though, we might get there in time for breakfast!

Seamus, just remember... it's not a race!    As long as everyone gets there sometime by Friday, anyway!  PARTY in the campgrounds!!!  WewT!!!

Looks like I'll be going childless this weekend, so I may get to hang around with some of you and finally meet others!!  Looking forward to opening cannon, Brigadoon brews for breakfast, Meet and Greet at Indulgences, watch show at Sea Devil's, check out Tartanic...  Looks to be like a promising weekend!!

It's gonna feel so weird camping so light.  Mayhaps I can borrow some warmth from others' bonfires?

I should go to bed soon. I have to be up in five hours, to pack the truck up and head down to work. Work a full day, leave between 400-430 and get on the road...probably get into faire by 830 or so, if even that.

Trying to sleep, have a 13 hour shift tonight, then it is off to faire!!! (Thank goodness milord is driving !)And boy is it needed! Nothing like having your hindquarters handed to you by a very sleepy, very angry MD.  Now multiply that times 3. Cannot wait till 0708 in the am!!! Excited to finally meet everyone!
