Fraser... this thread is ALWAYS relevant!!!  Even in the off season there is much to discuss!  Particularly since just about any topic is Faire game in here!

And brooding is a lonely and depressing pass-time... whereas Loki making discussions, your latest firearm acquisitions, and the general state of everyone's holiday craziness are always good reasons to come in here and relieve a bit of pressure.

Besides... we miss you when you disappear.  (hug)

I do hope you enjoy your holidays, however!  Don't set anything on fire this year while frying the turkey!  :o  ;D  heheh

Looks like we'll only be able to make it out Sunday, so we'll see everyone remaining out there then. After that, see everyone at Space City Con who is coming, and Sherwood after that :D

My younger brother Orren- the one referred to in my signature- will be out there Saturday and possibly with me Sunday. Ladies, hunt him down and make him blush  ;D

Sir Martin

I've seen some pretty big crowds at the TRF pub sings over the years, but never one so large as Saturday evening.  You would have needed a shoe horn to get more people into the Sea Devil.  They must have added some additional staff because the lines were no more than a couple people deep to get a brewski.  The Pirates were at the top of their game, also.  Lots of fun before the fireworks!

Seeing this now, after the fact, just makes me laugh--I believe I did meet your brother for a few moments today. Friend of a friend sort of thing.

Had to miss Closing Sunday... there's always next year.

Breandan, in that photo YOU appear to be the one blushing!  I know you're naturally a bit ruddy... but that's definitely a blush I see!  LOL

Fraser, I hope you'll at least be able to make it to a pub gathering at some point during the winter!

Sir Martin, the Pirate Pub Sing is a favorite of both mine and Miss Scally's, as well!  It sounds like it was very inspiring!  I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house during the farewell ballad...

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration, filled with family and friends... and are now gearing up for the madness and mayhem at the end of this month!  I know that most of my gifting this year will be handmade... because I just don't have the money to drop in the stores.  Sooo... I'd better get busy!

Part of his best man toast at the reception- when this pic was taken- involved him saying "Lastly, there are many things I would love to share with Tiff about him, but the statute of limitations hasn't expired yet!" >.<
