Opening- daytripping Saturday with kidlets
AHE- camping, attending both days sans kidlets
Barbarian- camping, attending both days kidlets possible, but unlikely
Closing- daytripping Saturday with the kidlets

Well... because of the "convenience fee" I have had to pass on this sale, since we are going to our local Faire today, and I can't afford to pay for 5 tickets right now, just to actually get 4 tickets.  We may not be making it down there this year, after all.

Holy crap nuggets, I'm glad I stopped by the forum today.  I could have sworn I put the ticket sale in my calendar, but today it's not showing up.  Now to go grab up some cheap ascii tickets.

Updated: Stupid user error, I put it under tomorrows date instead of today - DOH!

Well, no new tickets for this family.  The servers were packed yesterday and I was unable to complete my purchase.  When we got home last night I completely forgot and vegged out in front of the tv.  Oh well.

I tried to get mine about 9:30 AM but things were so badly bogged down, I gave up.  Tried again abour 4:30 and sailed through like a charm.
If I don't use all of mine (If My Lady declines to attend) I'll let you know.

I was mainly buying mine due to the insanely low price.  At this time, we are not sure if we'll be going this year.  I may be traveling again during this TRF season.

My company seems to want to interfer with my only vacation time... once again this year, our full physical inventory starts the Friday after i come back from AHE... so, five days off then work 10 straight...

Any day when the temperature rises over 90* is kinda sucky, in my opinion... but tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler, so here's hoping!

It's been a nice Mid 80's-ish here... don't see anything higher in the forecast for the next week... rain tomorrow and Friday but we need it, BAD... don't want a replay of the wildfires and no open flames at camp...

Today I started my first baby steps towards my goal of career-change-in-my-40s: setting up for Fall classes for my eventual MA in Medieval European History so I can go teach at the college/university level

On a completely unrelated note, I have been up since 0500 running on 4 hours of sleep, and am currently paranoid about the biscuits and what they are whispering to each other in the kitchen while I'm not looking...

We've got rain here right now... and a little thunder and mild lightning, as well.  Might need to turn off the computer and unplug it for a bit, really... just to be on the safe side.  It's supposed to be decent here for the rest of the month... and I hope the weather guys keep displaying at least moderate proficiency in their chosen profession... because I would really LIKE to have a May that isn't in the 100s, for a change. 


B... as long as they don't start growing arms and legs I think you're probably ok...
