Add 4 times the tables and it might hold 1/10 of the people who would try to crowd into it.  Might be just a bit on the lofty side, though... and maybe a little fancy for the campgrounds.  I'd rather not have to pay MORE to get into the mead hall than the admission price for the Masquerade...  lol

Maybe I did raise a good kid... My son, knowing I had lost my EZ-up to the Rennado, went and got me a new one for Fathers Day!   8)

That's pretty awesome, Fraser!  Hopefully it's been coated with Rennado repellent!  :o  ;D

That's why I said to set a small bar or two... No admission.  The bars would rack up some serious custom, even with people bringing some of their own.  Set it up back in the woods... *sigh*

I guess what I'm aiming at is somewhere we can gather & mix without having to deal with the stuff that goes with the bonfire...a place the Clans can gang around and everyone meet at.

Sorry...just thinking out loud.  It would be an unique feature, that a whole lot of us would use... A Viking "Sea Devil", just out in camp...*edit*.... No not that... That would ruin it...grrr.

Well, I was just looking at the dimensions that B had in his virtual "plans".  It looked almost empty.

Personally, I'd just like a nice 15 x 30 canopy, with some canvas walls, sort of like the BS crew brings, only just a few feet bigger all around.  Something homey, and not huge... and not actually "common knowledge" amongst the whole campgrounds, or it would be overrun with all of the "gen-pop" partiers, and it wouldn't be a nice place to go have a cider or two for very long.  I'm afraid it would have to be something small, like the burger place, or it would just become a bar in the campground, and I get the feeling they don't want that.  I can't see that they would have any objections to someone setting something like that up, though, and asking for "donations" to keep the food and meade flowing... since a lot of camps do that already.  If it was handled by the mgmt, though, I think it would rapidly become somewhere to avoid, just because they would want it to turn as much profit as possible, and it would be both advertised and expensive right off the bat.

Nice idea, though... if someone had the wherewithal to get it going!
