Cannot believe I just spent three hours putting together this illustration for AD&D gamers to explain what the weapons in the book really look like... this is why I am going to either be the dream professor or the nightmare one for my students when I finish the career shift to history teacher >.<

Good God, brother!  You're kidding, right? :o. I not only knew what those are, i could use most of them by the time I was ten...I did have a kind of strange childhood, though.

When you become a history teacher I'll become your student.  I've always loved a history teacher that has a passion for it rather than one that sits lamely by and tells us to read a book that in no way resembles history anymore and have us write a report on it.

Thinking of putting together an outfit like this for Tiff, any suggestions on where to find the clothing and such? Maille I can make, and weapons are covered, it's the belts, clothing, etc. that are out of my arena

Ravenswood used to have a warriors belt that might fit the bill...

I'm hoping that someone made a big mistake at Accuweather... Opening went from a mild mid to upper 70's to mid 80's now.  >:(

Hell, it shows AHE having upper 70's.  :-\

*Merlin... some long range weather spells, please!  No RenNados... just cooler.*

Fraser, you know better than to believe a weather forecast this far out.

Me personally, I don't believe what they've forecasted for tomorrow (o:

Be careful with those weather spells. We had several weather wizards working "rain, rain, go away" spells so as not to spoil a memorial service at the old Excalibur. It worked but spawned 3 tornadoes in other parts of the state that were supposed to have perfect weather.

Oh, i know... the Farmer's Almanac does a better job.  Last year, Accuweather was dang near spot on but that was an aberation...  ;D

*Edit*  The FA says clear and chilly for Opening...Unsettled weather for AHE...

Well whoever is doing weather spells at the moment needs to stop!!  We have funnel clouds spotted down here right now, sounds like one wayyyy too close to my house!

And yeah, don't bother checking weather for next month, it will change at least 30 times before we get there!

reworking my own armour and I discovered- I am completely lacking many key components and materials, and have no idea where to get them >.<

Need to figure out a clasp system that will anchor the fur cloak to my armour so it doesn't slide up and strangle me, need to finish the seax I am making for Tiff, I WANT to put decorative helm plaques on my helmet, but no idea if I'll have time, and I am still sorting out pauldrons and such. Blarghwaffles.

Anyway, 4am rambling done. Night!
