The King and Queen proclaim their annual Sale of the (16th) Century to be held on Saturday, May 14th from 6 am until 10 pm!

On this one day, for only 16 hours, Festival tickets will be sold for the incredibly low price of $10.95 each, a savings of over 65% off the regular admission price of $30.

This is your one chance to get a spectacular discount on admission tickets to the 2016 Texas Renaissance Festival. In addition, we will be cutting the usual $2-per-transaction fee in half, charging only $1 per ticket, which means your total purchase cost for each ticket will be only $11.95.

Here are the details:

•Sale Price: $10.95 (plus $1 per ticket transaction fee)
•Tickets must be purchased online at www.TexRenFest.com
•Tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 6 am.
•The sale will end at 10 pm that same day.
•There is a maximum purchase of 35 tickets per transaction.
•Each ticket is good for one admission during any regular Festival day (Saturdays and Sundays, October 8th – November 27th and Friday, November 25th.)

Admission to School Days (November 1st and 2nd) IS NOT included with this ticket.

This one day only sale is the only opportunity to purchase discount tickets at this low price! After this day, prices go up to $23.95 (Advance Discount) and $30 (Regular Adult Admission). Military, First Responder, and Group Discount tickets will be offered at $19 for adults and $9 for children.

"But What About the Children?"- Sale of the Century tickets are good for both adult and child admission.  Regular child admission is $15 at the gate and $12.95 if purchased in advance.  CHILDREN 12 AND YOUNGER ARE ADMITTED FREE EVERY SUNDAY during the 2016 season! Children ages 4 and younger are always admitted free of charge.

StudMuffin and I hope this helps many others to attend.   I know it does me.  StudMuffin gets in free, no doubt because of his sparkling personality.

Also they're discounting the preferred parking passes that day as well. For those of you that use it.

As the price continues to climb... It's all good, since I won't be doing TRF this year anyways.  It's not worth that much to me, seeing the new prices, for what I get.

It's looking as if I MAY make it AHE...

Still up in the air on details.

Jess...it's almost time for the 2016 Who, What, Where.

And yes, I will still be maintaining the Countdown.  First week in July, look for 99... ;)

StudMuffin and I hope you make it AHE, Frasier.  It wouldn't be the same not seeing your smiling face and hairy legs.  Not to mention, tasting from your flask.  Stop by camp and you can help me put Mike Pullin's "not suggestion" into effect.  (See Camping thread)
