Just received my new pants for my garb.  Props to Zootzu Garb for the fast response.

*May pick up a cloak, depending on what the long term forecasts say in a week or two.*

Boots, belt, bracers and sporran have been cleaned and mink oiled...going through supplies...time to start slowly loading stuff into the backpack, so my dumba** doesn't forget something in the last minute rush to get out the door.  And I definitely can't forget the little bit of Blood Orange Loki I have.  I've been promising Pat McGroin that I'd bring what was left for the last three years...it's the very last of a batch he made many moons ago.  Last time I touched it was right before Sir Sqweaky of Rhetoria's bachelor party...and the gallon of Jager we drank on top of it.

*shudder*

It's almost time to begin my Hell Month, prepping for a full inventory, spread across 35 acres.  And I'm the only one that does the prep...everyone else spends about a whole 3-4 hours on it and I get a pat on the head.   Of course, after my two weeks of checking variances and fixing general screw ups, I get to take a few days vacation.

And this will be the first time in three years that I've went inside with my fairemily...WOOT!

I'm slowly getting ready for TRF, also.  I had StudMuffin worked on, replacing the drive motor and brake.  Now he is quieter and I will be able to sneak up on people.  You won't know we are there till you hear a hearty "HI HO STUDMFFIN, AWAY!".

And I have to decide on the adult beverage of choice for opening weekend campground.  I'm leaning towards St. Arnold Apple Cidre, a light and refreshing drink.  Don't worry Fraser, I'll always have a Guinness for you at All Hallows so that we might bend an elbow together.

This season should be interesting with the changes in the campground.  They are recognizing and allowing Clan sites to be established.  I believe that McIntyre has staked out our usual place for Phoenix Risen but I have no idea about the other clans.  Then they moved the bonfire, which won't bother me in the least as I have never gone to watch the drunken antics around it.    As I said, it should be interesting...

HAZZAH!  We are getting close...  I can hardly wait.

I'm not too sure about the claim staking but as long as we can get close to our friends in PR & BS, on AHE, we're good to go.

Wow, Guess I've been gone awhile. I had 15 pages to go through. Lots happened in my absence. But, No, Fraser, I'm not dead yet. Yet!

I hope everyone has a great TRF season. This will be year two that we won't be participating. But I'm looking forward to all the reports on the changes.

For us, life has been really busy this year. Practically non-stop. So much so that we weren't even able to attend Sherwood this year, which was a huge bummer, having not missed a single season since before the gates opened. Even bigger bummer because this was their 10 year anniversary. Such is life. It is what it is.

Anyway, things are slowing down a bit now so I should be able to keep a presence on the forums. (o:
