I'm not sure if it's the 10k watt stereo system or the multiple kilowatt light show that does it for me...

Ya know, there's a time and a place for everything. But I kinda feel like the old man, thinking that Ren Faire camp is not the place for raves and discos. I'm all about playing music and having a good time. But I want to hear faire-centric music. And it should be as loud as the drummers can play their djembe's and the guitarist can strum their guitars, and the lutist can lute there lutes.

Of course this is just rehashing old grumblings that solve nothing. Repeating like a scratched record, this is why we removed ourselves from the grounds. The feeling of community was splintered.

Anyway...  SWFF is right around the corner. Time to gear up for two months in the forest.

So ends the 45th season of TRF.

Am I 100% satisfied that it's altered it's course and started sailing true?  No.

Do I feel any hope that it will?  There's always hope...and felt a light touch of what was the soul of TRF...
