Ok, so I watched an episode of Castle tonight, and... I didn't hate it.  I'm thinking it could be a whole lot more witty than it was, but I suppose it could have potential.  I'll watch another, at least, before I make a final decision, but I'm having a rather hard time not seeing Cap't. Mal when I look at Castle's face... well, until he opens his mouth, anyway.  I'm just not sure I can deal with the... lack of character... that this particular character seems to have.

Ok, so I watched an episode of Castle tonight, and... He can be a bit 2 dimensional sometimes, what with the playboy aspect but he has more facets to him than that, I promise you. A small cross section of the show, an episode or two, doesn't really do it justice as it's also about Beckett and Castle's report, development with his family...ect. Not saying I wouldn't mind some Whedon bros. writing and a 'Kaylee and the old mechanic in the engine room' scene now and again. I missed quite a few shows myself but with how fanatically Jen DVRs the show, I think I am set for the moment.

*Oh, and I watch Castle and I see Captain Hammer "I don't need tiny cue cards" Same M.O. Save the day, flirt like crazy, stroke the ego and in the end indeed the hammer is still his....on second thought I've said enough.

I've seen a couple of the shows myself, and it was ok in and of itself. But it was just too hard for me to watch and NOT see Mal and expect one of the crew to come walking around the corner at any moment. I had to stop watching.

Another fun fact about Castle is James Patterson. Apparently this is somewhat based on him or he came up with the idea and has had cameos. They even release the book he works on during the first season under Richard Castle and it was apparently written by James Patterson.

102!!!  WooT!!! Almost at the daily count number... and the "OMFurreakinG, I don't have anything done and now it's time to start panicking" number!!!  We have a "cold front" here right now, so it's only gonna be 87 degrees out today, making me think of fall, and camping, and FAIRE!!! 

Whew... had to get all that out... (deep breathe)  I'm good, now.

Sooo... Castle.  Not sure, but I'll try a few more before I make up my mind.  Not a real big fan of cop shows, murder mysteries or "intelligent yet clueless playboy turned detective" storylines, but who knows, it could grow on me.

Yep!!!  It's almost time to start brushing the Scarby dust off of things so I can figure out what I might, possibly want to wear for AHE!!!  It's so hard for me to clean things properly, because even the dust holds fond memories...
