You said it. The last weekend of Scarby nearly killed me.  I'm looking forward to a nice cool October weekend.
I aim to misbehave

Oh, me to!!!  I'm definitely a 3 season kinda gal...  Summer just takes everything out of me, and I feel lucky to survive it every year!  Fall is my favorite, by far!

I just wished fall would come when it's supposed to.... the dang leaves don't start changing untill the end of October and you can still hit 90 AHE.

I like the changing seasons, and I miss living somewhere that the climate doesn't try to kill you almost daily, just because it can...  We've had two mild summers, and the winters have been just as easy, so this year is looking to be brutal, and I'm sure we'll have ice storms later on, as well.

I've been trying to get things set up around here so I can actually get to my sewing/crafting area, and I'm getting a whole lot closer!  Maybe by next week I'll be able to start cutting out our new chemises...  ::)

Mmmmmm!  Ice storms!  That's what Houston needs... a good ice storm.  It helps weed out those weak drivers.  Survival of the fitest, i always say.  ;D

Funny, but it always seems that the drivers I see spun out in the ditch are the ones in their Cadillac Escalades, or some other high-dollar 4x4, who think that just because they have that extra little tag on the model name of their vehicle it means they can keep driving like they normally would, even on a 1.5 inch think sheet of ice...

... and it's the guy in the beat-up old Jeep with the winch on the front who comes along and pulls them out.  For $100...  :D

Still... the trees haven't recovered yet from the last ice storm...

The last good icing, here, was an easy 12-14 years ago... with 1400+ wrecks reported.  Think of all those young adults that have never had the pleasure of losing control at 40 mph and get a close up, personal introduction to a bar ditch!   They don't know what they're missing!  :D
