Good Gawd - Runnin out of time.  Still gotta get a hitch put on the new mobile; Find a damn trailer; Pick up the deck from the parents place in BFET (Thats located in deep east Texas); Stock up on camping gear;  Get the Clan organised;  Order new poles to replace the wind damaged ones from closing weekend last year; And I'm sure I'm forgetting a multitude of other duties.  And yet faire can't get here soon enough (o:

Decided to go with OSB instead of drywall- hardier, handles moisture better, and we're going to paint it anyway- so we should be able to do the rest of the interior sheathing ourselves (ourselves being me with my wife supervising ), since OSB is easier than sheet rock. Have a wedding to do this weekend, so twill be a while afore we get out there again. So, if anyone else is going to be there the 29th and 30th, lemme know and I'll try to swing by and say allo

Whew!  I just avoided a scheduling dilemma!  I was under the misguided assumption that TRF always started the first weekend of October (my birfday weekend), so I scheduled my vacation accordingly a few weeks ago.

Just checked the website, and they don't open 'til the following weekend!  Luckily, I was able to change schedules at work so I can still get my Friday 'prep and drive' day!

Oh, and hello, by the way.  Good to be back on the boards!

87 days to go till Highland Fling Weekend. Mitch wants to go by himself opening weekend, but I say no as I cant go, and HE went to Scarby this year when I didn't! lol

But, got all the fabrics for my faerie costume, and the beads should be here today, so I can get cracking! I'm so ready for it to be here, but already i feel behind!
