Oh, right... somehow barely managing to feed ourselves and keep the lights on while selling long held treasures and whatever crafts I can manage to produce (just so we could make it to Faire 4 times in the last 3 years) while eeking out a pitiful existence on the tiny amount of disability I've been granted... is suddenly the same as being independently wealthy...?  :o  

I wish I'd known...  :P


Seriously, though... I think I could handle a little independent wealth.  :D  (sigh)  And on that note... I have to get back to work, now.  I'm sure I'll pop in again in a bit, though... 

Keep an eye on the kids, Rapier... you know how they get when there's no one here to keep them in line!  ;)  heheh

...and this is why I had no children. Nooooo, instead I mindlessly stepped into a pair of 'em (now grown thank goodness!). Will still have fun with her granddaughter. I was very very good at spoiling the former in-law's kids. :o :-* Consider it practice......<continued evil grin>

Breandan - So sorry, I was remiss in congratulating you earlier on your news. Now I see you should be doubly happy!!!! ;D

At least now I know why Rapier is completely off his rocker....... :P

Rani- no, trust me, if I could I would stay here. But, we need to buy a bigger house, land, new family-friendly vehicles, and a laundry list of other things :)

Fraser- been writing, added another chapter in the past week, two and a half more to go. Then, its a year-long wait for the agent to chew on it, the publisher to chew on it, and then for it to hit a shelf while I make a pittance :D

*perks*  Did someone say Valium?!?  I could use a handful or two right about now...  Just spend the better part of FOREVER trying to figure out why Windows kept shutting down Photoshop every time I tried to do... well, ANYthing... without even giving me a specific error message!!!  And I'm sure I'll be lucky if I didn't pull ALL of my hair out in the process!!!   :o   >:(

Finally figured out the combination of things it was throwing it's hissy about... but wasted the whole freakin' afternoon doing it... and I'm supposed to have already sent then a viewing comp... that I DON'T HAVE READY!!!  AAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!

Aaaaand there went the last few strands of my hair.  


(sigh)  I love my job... but I think I might prefer the Valium right about now.  



B... I was just teasing...  Of course I know you'd rather be here with your girls while the bab(ies)y are/is developing!  I also know all about that whole "financial panic" mode... I live it, every day.  


Hos... I'm not really sure I'll be able to survive the stress of living my dream...  ::)  lol  (that was only mostly joking... particularly right at this very minute!)


Rapier... you do it so effortlessly that no one would ever even know you were trying!  :P  ;)  (and I am absolutely joking here... you are one of the sanest people I know!)  I need to apologize to you... Earlier I made a crack that seemed kinda funny when I wrote it, but upon rereading it just now I realized it sounded completely b!tchy and rude... and I'm so sorry!  Stress does that to me on occasion... but that's certainly no excuse for being mean to my friends!  :( 


And Fraser... will you be here tonight to post at 12:00:01, I wonder?  Because you know that if you're not then one of these other crazy people WILL be, don't you?  


(why am I picturing you doing the Tigger Bounce, right now?)  :D



Ok... I'm off to go get my renlet, whom I've been missing like crazy for the last two days and nights!!!  I'm going to take her out and spend some money on her, and make her smile... and tomorrow I'm gonna dye her hair all sorts of weird, funky colors!!!  And mine, also...  :P

Well, crap... now I'm wondering if I've been b!tchy and rude to anyone else this last week or so.  The stress of this project is starting to make itself felt... and suddenly I'm...not enjoying the process as much as I had been.  If so, then I'm really very sorry... and I'll try to keep my Manic Panic in the jar where it belongs!  Well... until it's time to put it on my hair, anyway...  ;)  :D
