I wear bloomers on the cooler days and on the hotter days I wear knickers or what I call knickers, a pair of bloomers that basically are shorts.

I end up on my rump way too many times during a faire day so I would rather have my cookies covered in a rump meets dirt type of fall

Modern undies and bloomers.... in fact the 'fancier' the fabric the better... that  being said.. most of my bloomers are cotton and very wild...  everything from dragons to chile peppers to 'goddawful' orange and purple stripes......

It is often easier for me to pick bloomer fabric than dress fabric.... I have even taken to putting pockets in them so I can wear them as regular pants or sleep pants.

I lurve my bloomers, and wear them even on the hot days.  Sometimes, especially on the hot days.   (I also wear my modern undies, though some cooler, more average days I'll go au natural.   I've also taken to getting some knee high socks and pulling them up all the way to appear as stockings.  So comfy, and no sandy toes!

What I really like about my bloomers is lounging around camp in nothing but the bloomers and a short sleeve chemise.  I might as well be in shorts and a t-shirt, but it looks more appropriate.

I usually just wear mundane undies, but I'll be attempting a farthingale this year so bloomers might be in order!
